Alexandra Pawlus is a versatile soprano recognized for her compelling stage presence and vocal clarity across opera, concert, and film. Her repertoire spans baroque to contemporary, and her performances reflect a deep commitment to storytelling and vocal craft.

She has appeared with ensembles including the Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra, Bach Vespers NYC, New York Lyric Opera Theatre, and Lyrica Classical Entertainment. Highlights include her Carnegie Hall debut in the U.S. premiere of Emmanuel Dubois' Requiem for the Fallen and her Lincoln Center appearance creating the role of Celia Szapka in The Project: A New Opera. Alexandra has also ventured into opera on film, portraying Orfeo in the Haute-Tenor France 1774 version of Orfeo ed Euridice with the Brooklyn Telemann Chamber Society.

Recent concert engagements feature Mozart's Krönungsmesse (Coronation Mass) with the Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra, and Bach's Magnificat with Bach Vespers at Holy Trinity Lutheran in New York.

A passionate advocate for education and vocal artistry, Alexandra recently joined the University of North Carolina School of the Arts Community Music School as Voice Faculty, returning to Winston-Salem (her alma mater) after six years of teaching and performing in New York City. Since 2019, she has also served as a Master Teaching Artist with the Metropolitan Opera, creating programs that bring opera's stories and sounds to young learners.

Alexandra earned her Master of Music in Vocal Performance (Vocal Pedagogy Concentration) from New England Conservatory and her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from UNCSA. She is particularly devoted to Polish art song, a reflection of her heritage and her ongoing exploration of music that bridges cultures and eras.
